Introduction to Pricing

ClearSKY pricing is based on monthly EUR spend tiers. As your total account spend grows within a calendar month, your €/km² rate becomes cheaper. You can estimate costs and place orders at dashboard.clearsky.vision/create-order.

  • You pay for usage with order credits (EUR).
  • Data downloads consume processing credits.
  • Subscriptions control support and features. Usage is not included.

Ordering options​

We support two shapes. Pick the one that fits your workflow.

  • Polygon ordering
    Free-form geometries as small as 1 km². If a polygon’s extent is below 1 km² it is billed as 1 km².

  • Tile and minitile ordering
    Predefined internal tiles sized 5120 × 5120 px and 320 × 320 px.

    • Tiles: 80% off the model base rate (pay 20% of polygon price).
    • Minitiles: 50% off the model base rate.
      Tiles are recommended for large, continuous monitoring. They are cheaper per km² and easy to extend later by adding neighboring tiles.

Model base prices​

  • Nimbus: €0.10 per km²
  • Stratus-2: €0.20 per km²

Example before spend tiers and optional inputs: a Nimbus tile costs €0.10 × 0.20 = €0.02 per km².

Satellite input prices​

Optional inputs add per-km² costs when you select them. Required inputs for a given model are included with that model.

  • Sentinel-1: €0.04 per km²
  • Sentinel-2: €0.04 per km²
  • Sentinel-3: €0.02 per km²
  • Landsat 8 and 9: €0.02 per km²
  • Amazônia-1: TBD
  • CBERS-4 and 4a MUX: TBD
  • CBERS-4 and 4a WFI: TBD
  • ResourceSat-2: TBD
  • ResourceSat-2a: TBD

Monthly spend tiers​

Your effective €/km² is set by your current calendar-month spend and your chosen model. Tiers reset on the first of each month.

How pricing is applied
  1. Choose a model.
  2. Find your current monthly spend tier.
  3. Take the €/km² from the table for that model.
  4. Apply the tile or minitile factor if used.
  5. Add any optional satellite rates per km².

Minimum fee and recurring orders​

  • New order fee: €2 per new tasking order at creation time.
  • Recurring orders: Optional. After the first month, recurring orders are billed on actual usage without the €2 fee.

Subscriptions and credits (short)​

  • Subscriptions control support, SLA, and limits. They do not include usage.
  • You can purchase subscriptions with order credits (EUR).
  • Processing credits are used when you download data.
  • Both credit types expire 12 months after top-up.
