Coverage – Lookup

The Coverage – Lookup page helps you find imagery availability across all your active orders. Instead of checking each order separately, you can input a geometry or tile GUID once and see combined coverage results.

Input Options

You can search for coverage in three ways:

  1. Draw on Map: Use the Leaflet map to sketch your area of interest.
  2. WKT Input: Paste a Well-Known Text (WKT) geometry directly into the search field.
  3. Tile / Minitile GUID: Provide the unique identifier of a predefined tile.

Filters

To refine results, several filters are available:

  • Spatial Filter:

    • Intersect → Any order overlapping your input area.
    • Within → Orders that are fully contained inside your input geometry.
    • Contains → Orders that fully contain the input geometry.
  • Model Filter: Limit results to a specific cloud-removal model (e.g., Stratus-2, Nimbus).

  • Order Type: Choose between composite, tile, or both.

Results

The system scans all active orders and finds any that intersect with your input.

  • Matching orders are shown in the list on the right.
  • Clicking on an entry shows the availability calendar, similar to the My Orders – Availability page.
  • When multiple orders cover the same area, their availability is effectively combined into a single timeline of possible imagery.
tip

This is especially useful if you have multiple overlapping orders (e.g., one order from Oct–Dec 2024 and another from Feb–Aug 2025). Instead of checking them separately, the lookup tool shows you all dates where imagery is available across both orders.

The Coverage Lookup is the fastest way to answer:
“Do I already have imagery for this location and time period across any of my orders?”
