Understand ‘km²’ Credits​

Instead of counting requests, we use a credit system to give users maximum flexibility. Each credit allows you to download 10 km² of imagery, providing a simple way to manage your usage across different areas and orders.

When you place an order, you will receive enough credits to acquire images of your entire area of interest at the frequency you selected (e.g., daily updates over a specified period). If you require additional access – such as for reacquiring images – you can purchase extra credits to support your needs. See our “Top Up” pricing site.

  • Minimum Credit Charge:
    The smallest unit of a credit is 0.01. For any API requests covering areas smaller than 0.1 km², a minimum charge of 0.01 credits applies per request.

Data Storage Duration​

At the time of ordering, you choose the data storage duration for your images. This determines how long the acquired images will be stored and accessible to you. The storage duration is independent of your credits.

Key Point: Even if your credits are still valid, images will no longer be accessible after their designated storage period expires. If you need longer access to your images, please select an extended storage duration when placing your order.

Credit Expiration​

All credits – including those provided with your initial order and any additional credits purchased – expire one year after the credits have been added to your account. Please ensure you utilize your credits within this timeframe to maximize their value.

Important: Credits can remain valid even after your selected image storage duration has ended. This means you can use any remaining credits to reacquire images from another order within the one-year validity period.
