Usage Unit Description
Our Usage Units (UU) Discount System calculates discounts based on monthly usage accrued through both composite and tile orders. Every order made within a month contributes to a single monthly usage total.
Usage Unit Benefits
Usage Units are accrued at the account level, combining usage from all orders and models within a given month. These cumulative usage units unlock higher discount tiers based on total monthly throughput. Each tier provides tailored discounts and benefits, uniquely optimized for specific models and order types, ensuring maximum value across your usage.

Earning Usage Units
Order usage units are reset monthly, and each month’s orders count toward that month’s discount. Tile and composite orders contribute a different number of usage units, as outlined in the table below:

Usage units for a model include its required input satellites, which do not contribute extra units. Optional satellites, made available by the company and chosen by the user, incur an additional cost. However, they contribute more usage units, enabling higher and faster discounts. The table below illustrates how optional satellites contribute additional usage units:
