Plans and recurring orders​

When purchasing cloudless images from ClearSKY, customers can order data for the current month or past months without needing a recurring order. These one-time purchases cover historical and current imagery up to and including the current calendar month. However, customers also have the option to set their orders to renew automatically on a monthly basis, starting from the next calendar month. This ensures continuous access to future data as it becomes available, but recurring orders are entirely optional.

  • Flexibility:
    Customers can cancel individual recurring orders at any time, up to one day prior to the commencement of the next billing cycle (i.e., the first day of the new month). This allows you to adjust your ongoing data needs without long-term commitment.

  • Plan Cancellation:
    To cancel an active paid plan, simply switch to the free (explore only) plan in the dashboard. The plan will continue until the end of the calendar month it was cancelled in.

Billing​

  • Billing Cycle: The standard billing cycle and commitment is monthly. Upon initialization of an order, an invoice will be generated immediately, covering the services for that order. Any orders set to recur will be repeated the following month. If you have multiple recurring orders, a single invoice will be issued on the first day of each month covering all active orders.

  • Backwards Payment: While our default billing method is upfront payment at the time of order initiation, we recognize that many of our current customers prefer to consolidate their orders. For trusted partners, ClearSKY offers the option to switch to a backwards payment model. This allows all orders placed during a month to be combined into a single invoice at the end of the month.
