Glossary
Use this glossary when a term appears in workflow pages and you need a precise shared definition.
Terms
- AOI (Area of Interest): the spatial area requested for ordering or download.
- ApiRequests: order field used to define planned API retrieval pattern tied to pricing/storage logic.
- Availability check: endpoint call that validates date-level or request-level fulfillability before processing.
- Bandnames: requested output bands or expressions (for example
rgb, explicit bands, or index expressions). - Composite: output generated for a custom geometry and single date using configured model/constellation settings.
- DataType: output pixel type such as
INT16orUINT8. - EpsgProjection: target CRS EPSG code for output reprojection.
- Historical order: order with fixed
FromandTodates. - ImageFrequency: cadence setting controlling how often dates are expected.
- Live order: order where future dates are still expected under current configuration.
- Model: specific selectable processing model value used in requests (for example
Stratus2,Stratus2Fast). - Order credits (EUR): credits used to create tasking orders.
- OrderingProcessStatus: lifecycle status for an order (for example
Preparing,Completed,UpToDate). - Processing units: credits consumed during download/processing requests.
- Recurring order: live order with no fixed
Todate that renews monthly until canceled. - ReferenceDate: cadence anchor date used with
ImageFrequency. - SatelliteConstellations: selected source constellation set (for example Sentinel and Landsat combinations).
- StorageMonths: configured retention window for produced data.
- Tile / Minitile: predefined grid units used for tile-based ordering and retrieval.
- UploadUrl: destination URL used for server-side file delivery instead of direct binary response.
- UTM data selection mode: strategy for handling UTM-zone behavior in UTM EPSG outputs.
